What we collect

This website collects information only when you send a project inquiry. The form asks for your full name, business name, and email address, and optionally your phone number and current website. It also asks what you need, what you’d like your website to do better, your estimated budget, and, if you choose, a desired start date and how you heard about us.

With each inquiry we also record the date and time it arrived, the page it was sent from, and a reference number. To protect the form from spam and accidental repeat submissions, we keep a fingerprint of the message and briefly check how often the same email address has sent an inquiry.

How we use it

• To read and reply to your inquiry using the contact details you provided.
• To understand your project and, if we’re a good fit, prepare a proposal.
• To keep a record of our conversation if we work together.

We don’t sell your information, and sending an inquiry doesn’t add you to any marketing list.

Where it’s kept

Inquiries are stored with Repaint, the platform that hosts this website. When an inquiry arrives, an email notification containing its details is sent to our studio inbox so we can respond. Only the people working on Open Door Studio inquiries can see them.

Cookies and tracking

This website doesn’t use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and it doesn’t load scripts or fonts from other companies. While you fill in the form, your answers are kept temporarily in your own browser tab so they aren’t lost if something goes wrong. They’re cleared once your inquiry is sent or when you close the tab. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as request times and addresses, to run and protect the service.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry details only as long as they’re useful for responding to you, for a project we take on together, or for our ordinary business records, and then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct, or delete the information you’ve shared. To do that, send us a note through our project form and mention your request.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date above.
